Students thinking in a different way - a project delivered by students from King's [The Cathedral School], Peterborough
A group of students from the King’s School, supported by James Stubbs, a teacher at the school, delivered a workshop on 8th January 2015 to a group of our Year 7 students. The workshop provided an opportunity for the students to think in a new way. Thunks are questions that try to pin down abstract concepts and ideas while also causing ‘severe brainache’! and the students will hopefully continue using Thunks in the classroom where they can provide a short mental break from intense learning or an excellent opportunity to regain waning focus. The group will be delivering a THUNKS Workshop to our Year 8 students in term 5.
