Year 11 and Year 6 students visited Codem Composites for National Manufacturing Day on Thursday 26th September 2024. CODEM is a leading provider of advanced composite solutions, right in the heart of Peterborough. Codem complete everything in house, where specialist staff design and manufacture tailored parts for sectors such as Formula One, Automotive, Space, Electric Vehicles, Defence, and Bespoke applications.

The students listened to an impressive presentation about the company and possible career paths into the sector. They then had a tour of the factory and finished the day with making their own carbon fibre souvenirs to take home.
